Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a sincere, disciplined, and responsible individual to join our Ashram as a Residential Caretaker & Administration Executive.

The role involves looking after the day-to-day functioning of the Ashram, basic administrative and accounting work, and coordinating maintenance activities related to infrastructure and utilities.

The candidate will stay within the Ashram premises and become an integral part of the Ashram community while maintaining its values and discipline.


Key Responsibilities

Administration & Accounts

Maintain basic accounting records in Tally.

Make routine accounting and expense entries.

Maintain bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.

Assist in day-to-day administrative activities.

Coordinate with management regarding routine operational requirements.

Facility Management

Oversee the general upkeep and cleanliness of the Ashram premises.

Monitor day-to-day functioning of utilities and infrastructure.

Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, technicians, and service providers whenever required.

Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Utility & Infrastructure Monitoring

Monitor and coordinate maintenance of:

DG Set CCTV Systems Inverters and Batteries

Water Pumps Motors Lighting Systems

Water Supply Systems General Ashram Infrastructure

Identify breakdowns and arrange timely repairs through external vendors.

Ensure uninterrupted functioning of basic services within the Ashram.

General Responsibilities

Assist in procurement and local market purchases when required.

Coordinate with vendors and service agencies.

Ensure safety, security, and discipline within the premises.

Be available for handling urgent maintenance requirements.


Educational Qualification

Minimum Requirement

12th Pass (Higher Secondary) + Gradutaion

Preferred

Basic knowledge of Tally and accounting entries.

Diploma, ITI, or technical background will be an added advantage.


Skills Required

Basic knowledge of Tally ERP.

Ability to perform routine accounting entries.

Basic understanding of maintenance and facility management.

Familiarity with DG Sets, CCTV, pumps, motors, water systems, and related infrastructure.

Ability to coordinate with vendors and technicians.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, WhatsApp, etc.).


Experience

Freshers may apply.

Candidates with experience in administration, accounts, facility management, residential campuses, schools, hostels, religious institutions, Ashrams, or similar environments will be preferred.


Additional Requirements

Must know how to ride a motorcycle/scooter and possess a valid driving licence.

Should be physically fit and willing to handle day-to-day operational responsibilities.

Must be willing to reside within the Ashram premises.

Respectful towards spiritual and cultural values.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.


Important Conditions

This is a residential position; accommodation and food will be provided by the Ashram.

Consumption, possession, or use of alcohol, liquor, tobacco, smoking products, intoxicants, drugs, or non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited within the Ashram premises.

The candidate must maintain a lifestyle aligned with the spiritual and cultural values of the Ashram.
