Job Description
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying putty or primer.
- Mix paints, thinners, and coatings according to specifications.
- Apply paint, varnish, enamel, or protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure proper color matching and finish quality.
- Protect surrounding areas from paint spills and overspray.
- Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups when required.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Read and understand work instructions, drawings, or specifications.
- Estimate material requirements and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades during project execution.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness at the work site.
