Job Description
This employee is responsible for the Cold Cuts & Delicatessen Counter, handling products such as:
- Sliced meats (ham, salami, sausages, bacon, etc.)
- Cheese
- Ready-to-eat deli products
- Frozen and chilled specialty items
- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist customers at the cold cuts/deli counter.
- Slice, weigh, pack, and label products as per customer requirements.
- Maintain product freshness and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish displays.
- Ensure proper temperature control of chillers and display units.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Check product expiry dates and remove expired items.
- Promote products and provide recommendations to customers.
- Skills RequiredGood customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene.
- Ability to operate weighing and slicing equipment.
- Attention to cleanliness and product quality.
