Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesInbound & Receiving OperationsReceive merchandise from DCs, vendors, and inter‑store transfers.
  • Verify received stock against invoices, transfer slips, and system GRNs.
  • Ensure correct quantity, quality, and SKU matching during receipt.
  • Coordinate timely unloading and movement of goods to designated areas.
  • Inventory & Documentation ControlEnsure accurate system inwarding in ERP (SAP or equivalent).
  • Maintain proper documentation: invoices, delivery challans, GRNs.
  • Highlight discrepancies such as shortages, excess, or damages immediately.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and finance teams for discrepancy resolution.
  • Storage & HandlingEnsure proper stacking, labeling, and storage as per brand/category SOP.
  • Follow FIFO and handling norms to prevent damages or losses.
  • Maintain receiving bay cleanliness, safety, and organization.
