Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with strong BUSY knowledge to manage the financial operations of our HVAC business in Bareilly. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide financial insights to support operational efficiency.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate books of accounts including ledger entries, invoices, receipts, and payments
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and client collections
• Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and petty cash management
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Work closely with operations and project teams to track job costs, material usage, and project budgets
• Manage GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and vendors as needed
• Monitor HVAC project-specific expenses, including equipment procurement, service contracts, and AMC renewals
• Generate MIS reports for management, highlighting financial performance, outstanding payments, and operational costs
• Ensure accurate payroll processing and statutory deductions for staff
• Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (M.Com/CA Inter preferred)
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or HVAC-related businesses
• Proficiency in BUSY
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
• Good command of MS Excel and reporting tools
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Prior experience in HVAC, MEP, or contracting operations is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfort in handling multiple projects and tight deadlines
