Job Description
Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and goods.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requisitions when required.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
Coordinate with the procurement, accounts, and project/site teams for material requirements.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), and stock reports.
Maintain inward and outward material records.
Handle vendor deliveries and resolve discrepancies in quantity or quality.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
Supervise store assistants, helpers, or warehouse staff.
Monitor the movement of high-value and critical items to prevent loss or damage.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
