Job Summary:An Academic Counsellor guides students and parents in making informed educational decisions. The role involves counseling prospective and existing students, understanding their academic needs, recommending suitable courses or programs, and providing continuous support to ensure academic success and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Student CounsellingCounsel students and parents regarding academic programs, courses, and career opportunities.

• Understand students' educational goals and suggest appropriate learning paths.
• Assist students in selecting courses based on their interests, strengths, and career aspirations.
• Admissions & EnrollmentsHandle inquiries from prospective students through calls, emails, and walk-ins.
• Explain course details, fee structures, and admission procedures.
• Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
• Student SupportMonitor students' academic progress and provide guidance when needed.
• Address student concerns and coordinate with faculty for academic support.
• Maintain regular communication with students and parents.
• Career GuidanceProvide information on higher education opportunities and career options.
• Help students identify their skills, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct career counseling sessions and workshops.
• Administrative DutiesMaintain accurate student records and counseling reports.
• Prepare admission and enrollment documentation.
• Generate reports related to admissions, student performance, and counseling activities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's Degree preferred.

Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or educational services is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position.

May require weekend counseling sessions during admission periods.
