Accounts Manager

Bharat Toyota is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive specializing in GST processing to manage GST compliance, accounting transactions, reconciliations, and statutory reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST regulations applicable to automobile dealerships and ensure timely and accurate tax compliance while supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

GST Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Perform GST reconciliation with books of accounts and the GST portal.
• Verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers.
• Monitor vendor GST compliance and follow up on mismatches.
• Handle GST notices, departmental queries, and support during GST audits.
• Ensure compliance with the latest GST laws, notifications, and amendments.

Accounting & Finance

• Record day-to-day accounting transactions in the ERP/DMS.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
• Verify purchase invoices and ensure correct GST accounting.
• Process vendor payments and maintain accounts payable records.
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and statutory records.
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing required financial information.

Reporting

• Generate GST and finance-related MIS reports.
• Prepare monthly tax liability reports.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and vendor balances.
• Assist management with financial analysis and compliance reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) (Mandatory)
• M.Com / MBA (Finance) or Inter CA/CMA will be an added advantage.
• Experience2–5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on GST processing experience.
• Experience in an automobile dealership or automotive industry is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST laws and compliance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions, etc.).
• Experience with ERP software such as SAP, Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Oracle, or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
• Knowledge of TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
• Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
