Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented professional to lead our Accounts and Finance function. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise across the full spectrum of accounting and finance—from day-to-day bookkeeping to managing audits, statutory compliance, banking, and financial planning. Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, Tally entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Statutory Compliance & Taxation:
  • Handle GST (returns, reconciliation, input credits) and TDS (deductions, returns, filing).
  • Manage all direct and indirect tax compliances.
  • Liaise with auditors (internal, statutory, GST, etc.) and ensure smooth completion of audits.
  • Banking & Treasury:
  • Manage and maintain healthy banking relationships.
  • Oversee cash flow planning, fund management, LC/BG documentation, and working capital arrangements.
  • Customs & Regulatory:
  • Coordinate with customs authorities for imports/exports documentation and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry.
  • Financial Planning & MIS:
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and regular MIS reports for management.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making and cost control.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Customs, and regulatory compliances.
  • Experience in handling audits and liaising with external agencies (auditors, bankers, customs, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a small team if required.
