Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive sales and expand the market presence of our newly launched food products. The ideal candidate should have strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the FMCG/food products market.
- Promote and sell the company's food products to retailers, distributors, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and other potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Conduct regular field visits to generate leads and close sales.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Negotiate pricing, prepare quotations, and close business deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Collect customer feedback and recommend strategies to improve sales and market reach.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in FMCG or the food industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and sales skills.
- Willingness to travel for field sales and client meetings.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in launching or promoting new products.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the local market and distribution network is an added advantage.
