Job Description

A Business Development Manager (BDM) acts as a strategic driver for company growth. Unlike a pure sales role that focuses on closing immediate transactions, a BDM focuses on long-term value, identifying new markets, and building sustainable partnerships.

1. Strategic Growth & Market ExpansionThe BDM is the "explorer" of the company, looking for new territories and untapped opportunities.

  • Market Research: Analyzing industry trends, competitor positioning, and emerging markets to identify growth areas.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing long-term business goals and action plans (e.g., entering a new geographic region or launching a new product line).
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identifying and qualifying high-value prospects through networking, cold outreach, and digital platforms like LinkedIn.
