Car Technician

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Car Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles. The candidate should be able to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine servicing, and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, wheel alignment, and tire replacement
• Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, batteries, suspension systems, and electrical components
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify preventive maintenance needs
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs
• Maintain accurate service records and job cards
• Follow company safety standards and workshop procedures
• Explain repair requirements and costs to service advisors or customers when needed
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of automobile systems and components
• Ability to use diagnostic scanners and repair tools
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of petrol, diesel, and modern vehicle electronics
• Attention to detail and time management
• Teamwork and communication skills
• QualificationsITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or related field
• 1–5 years of experience in car servicing or repair
• Valid driving license preferred
• Preferred ExperienceExperience with brands such as Maruti, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Tata, Mahindra, etc.
• Knowledge of EV (Electric Vehicle) servicing is an added advantage
• Working ConditionsWorkshop/service center environment
• May require standing for long hours and handling heavy tools/equipment
