Chef De Partie

Position: Head Chef

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and responsible Chef who can manage and operate the Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor sections of the kitchen. The candidate should be capable of preparing food according to standard recipes, maintaining kitchen discipline, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking.

• Prepare and cook menu items as per standard recipes and portion sizes.
• Handle Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor cooking sections efficiently.
• Prepare gravies, base sauces, chopped masala, chili paste, and other kitchen preparations.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.

Kitchen Operations:

• Follow daily opening, closing, and production checklists.
• Plan and assign tasks to helper staff and monitor their work.
• Ensure timely preparation of ingredients and mise en place for service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.

Quality & Compliance:

Follow all restaurant rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Report inventory shortages and kitchen maintenance issues to management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor cooking.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, gravies, sauces, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to manage kitchen helpers and delegate tasks effectively.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
