Job Description
A Collection Associate is responsible for recovering outstanding payments from customers, maintaining records, and ensuring timely collections while maintaining a good customer relationship.
- Key ResponsibilitiesContact customers via calls, emails, or messages to collect overdue payments
- Follow up on pending invoices and ensure timely collections
- Maintain records of all communication and payment updates
- Negotiate payment plans with customers if required
- Resolve customer billing issues and disputes
- Update collection status in CRM/software
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal guidelines
- Prepare daily/weekly collection reports
- Required SkillsGood communication and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and CRM tools
- Ability to handle pressure and meet targets
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- QualificationsGraduate in any field (B.Com, BBA preferred)
- 0–3 years of experience in collections, customer service, or finance
