Job Description
Arpitha Exports is looking for a motivated and energetic Field Marketing & Sales Executive to promote our products and develop new business opportunities across India. This role involves frequent travel to meet builders, contractors, architects, and other customers. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, enjoy meeting people, and be committed to achieving sales and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit builders, contractors, architects and project sites to promote company products.
- Generate new business leads and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct product presentations and explain product features and benefits.
- Follow up regularly with customers until enquiries are converted into orders.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly visit reports.
- Maintain records of customer meetings, enquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the office team for quotations, samples, and customer requirements.
- Gather market information, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions.
Travel Requirement
- This position requires frequent outstation travel.
- Travel will typically be 2 to 3 weeks every month across different cities, around south India and to Mumbai / Pune.
- The remaining working days will be spent in the Bangalore office for planning, reporting, and customer follow-up.
- Candidates should be willing and able to travel extensively.
Requirements
- Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline (advantage if from civil or mechanical background)
- 1–5 years of experience in field marketing or sales (manufacturing or construction industry experience is preferred).
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel may also apply.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing) and Hindi (speaking).
- Knowledge of Kannada or other regional languages is an added advantage.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong follow-up skills and a persistent approach to closing business opportunities.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and email.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, punctual, and willing to work independently.
