Job Description
Job Summary:-The Business Development Executive will be responsible for handling IndiaMART enquiries, generating new business opportunities, converting leads into customers, and achieving sales targets across India. The role requires strong communication, customer relationship management, and sales negotiation skills.
- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all inbound enquiries received through IndiaMART and other digital platforms.
- Contact prospective customers via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and pricing with customers.
- Follow up regularly to convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling and lead generation.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Stores, Dispatch, and Accounts) for smooth order execution.
- Update all customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM/ERP system.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or any relevant field.
- 4–9 years of experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, IndiaMART Sales, or B2B Sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
- Required SkillsStrong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in handling IndiaMART enquiries.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and CRM software.
- Ability to generate leads and close sales.
- Strong follow-up and customer relationship management skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Number of IndiaMART enquiries handled.
- Lead response time.
- Lead-to-order conversion ratio.
- Monthly sales revenue achieved.
- Number of new customers acquired.
- Customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Follow-up efficiency and CRM updates.
- Preferred ExperienceExperience in B2B Industrial Sales or Manufacturing Industry.
- Knowledge of IndiaMART Seller Panel.
