Site Supervisor – Interior Design & Site Execution
📍 Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
🕐 Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
The Artful Abode is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead on-ground execution across our interior design projects in Bengaluru. You'll be the critical link between design intent and on-site delivery - ensuring quality, timelines, and coordination across vendors, contractors, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations for residential interior fit-out projects
- Coordinate with carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, and other on-site trades
- Ensure execution aligns with approved design drawings, BOQ, and material specifications
- Monitor site progress, maintain daily site reports/logs, and flag delays or deviations
- Conduct quality checks on civil, carpentry, false ceiling, painting, and finishing work
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules with vendors
- Liaise with Project Managers and Design team to resolve on-site issues
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and housekeeping standards on site
- Manage labor deployment and contractor accountability
- Track project milestones and support timely handover
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field (or equivalent site experience)
- 2-3 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in interior fit-out, turnkey execution, or construction
- Strong understanding of civil work, carpentry, MEP coordination, and finishing trades
- Familiarity with reading architectural/interior drawings and BOQs
- Proficiency in daily reporting tools (Excel/Google Sheets; app-based reporting a plus)
- Strong on-ground problem-solving and vendor management skills
- Willingness to travel across multiple active sites in Bengaluru
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with residential interior fit-out or turnkey projects
- Working knowledge of site safety compliance
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or site-measurement tools
