Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing machines to ensure smooth production processes, quality output, and adherence to safety standards.
- Key Responsibilities:Operate machinery such as CNC, bending, punching, laser cutting, or assembly machines as per production requirements
- Set up machines before starting production and ensure proper calibration
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during operation
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Identify and report any machine faults or production issues to supervisors
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets
- Maintain proper documentation of production output and machine logs
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company policies
- Skills Required:Basic knowledge of manufacturing machines and tools
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings (preferred)
- Good attention to detail and quality control
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Working Conditions:Factory/production floor environment
- Rotational shifts may be required
- Standing for long hours and handling machinery
- Additional Requirements:Willingness to learn and adapt
- Physical fitness to handle shop floor activities
- Discipline and punctuality
