Maintenance And Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilities & Hygiene Management: Oversee maintenance and sanitation of the bakery facility, including production areas, storage zones, equipment, and utilities, ensuring compliance with FSSAI hygiene and food safety standards.
• Food Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to FSSAI guidelines, including cleaning schedules (SSOPs), pest control, waste management, and prevention of cross-contamination in all areas.
• Cleaning & Sanitation Control: Implement and monitor daily cleaning and sanitation protocols for production floors, baking equipment, utensils, and common areas using approved food-grade chemicals.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise housekeeping and cleaning staff, including shift planning, task allocation, and ensuring proper grooming, hygiene practices, and use of PPE (gloves, caps, masks, uniforms).
• Training & Development: Train staff on food safety practices, personal hygiene, cleaning procedures, safe chemical handling, and FSSAI compliance requirements. Conduct regular refresher sessions.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials, food-safe chemicals, and sanitation supplies; raise timely indents to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Quality & Audit Readiness: Conduct routine inspections of production and storage areas to maintain audit readiness for internal and external (FSSAI) inspections, ensuring proper documentation and records.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors for pest control, waste disposal, and facility maintenance, ensuring compliance with food safety norms.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, including proper handling and storage of cleaning agents, machinery safety, and emergency protocols.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of cleaning logs, pest control reports, temperature logs (if applicable), and sanitation checklists as per FSSAI requirements.
