Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across InkLink Prints' production, branding, gifting, and office functions. This role ensures seamless execution of client projects, efficient utilization of resources, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery commitments. The position requires strong leadership, process-oriented thinking, commercial awareness, and hands-on expertise in print production, branding solutions, vendor management, and team development.
The Operations Manager will play a critical role in scaling operations, enhancing productivity, maintaining client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations ManagementLead and oversee day-to-day printing, branding, gifting, and production operations to ensure timely and accurate execution of client orders.
- Develop and manage production schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor workflow to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with design, sales, procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor job progress, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery timelines.
- Quality Assurance & Process ExcellenceEstablish, implement, and enforce quality control measures to ensure all products meet InkLink's quality standards and client expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, minimize rework, and optimize costs.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and operational discipline across departments.
- Equipment & Facility ManagementOversee preventive maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of printing and production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain peak performance.
- Ensure production facilities, workstations, and storage areas are maintained in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment support and facility-related requirements.
- Team Leadership & Talent ManagementLead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning activities to build a high-performing operations team.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members through regular coaching, performance reviews, and skill enhancement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across the organization.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and implement performance improvement plans where required.
- Office Administration & ProcurementManage office administration functions including facility management, inventory control, procurement, vendor coordination, and asset management.
- Ensure availability of production materials, consumables, and office supplies to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Monitor vendor performance and negotiate cost-effective procurement solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Financial & Business ManagementMonitor operational expenses and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
- Analyze operational data and prepare management reports on productivity, quality, efficiency, inventory, and profitability metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins through process optimization, vendor management, and resource utilization.
- Compliance, Health & SafetyEnsure compliance with all applicable workplace safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
- Promote a safe, healthy, and positive working environment across production and office operations.
- Conduct periodic safety audits and implement preventive measures to mitigate operational risks.

- Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Operations Management, Production, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in print production, branding, manufacturing, or operations management.
- Strong understanding of printing technologies, branding processes, production planning, and inventory management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and production management tools.
