Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Checking Materials: Look at raw items when they arrive. Accept good items and reject bad ones.
  • Testing and Measuring: Use tools like rulers, gauges, and calipers to check sizes and test how things work.
  • Reading Blueprints: Look at design plans, manuals, and rules to learn what the product should look like.
  • Stopping Bad Production: Spot flaws early, pull broken items, and stop assembly lines if a big issue happens.
  • Writing Reports: Record test scores, count broken parts, and share results with managers.
