Receptionist / Front Office Executive

A front desk receptionist at Dr. Yasaswi’s Brain Spine & Neuro Centre in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, is the primary point of contact for patients seeking specialized neurological and spine care. This role requires a blend of professional administrative expertise and a compassionate, patient-centered approach due to the sensitive nature of neurosurgical and spine-related conditions. 

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Intake & Greeting: Welcoming patients and visitors professionally, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment upon arrival.
• Appointment Management: Coordinating complex schedules for consultations and surgical follow-ups; managing walk-ins specifically during emergencies.
• Neurological Coordination: Collecting and organizing critical medical records, including MRI discs or printed films, and ensuring they are accessible to the doctor before the appointment.
• Administrative Support: Managing phone and WhatsApp inquiries, verifying insurance eligibility, and accurately handling billing and payment processing.
• Surgical Assistance: Supporting the coordination of minimally invasive and complex spine surgeries by liaising with partner hospitals and labs

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Communication: Proficiency in English and Kannada is often essential for effectively interacting with the local patient demographic in Bengaluru.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Microsoft Office, and clinic management software.
• Medical Knowledge: Basic familiarity with neurological and spine-related terminology (e.g., minimally invasive surgery, neurosurgery) to better assist and direct patients.
• Empathy & Professionalism: Maintaining a calm, polite demeanor to comfort patients who may be experiencing significant pain or anxiety.
