Job Summary
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing and developing the business operations of Gold Loan, Investment, and Insurance products within the assigned region. The role involves achieving business targets, ensuring operational excellence, improving branch productivity, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading branch teams for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Achieve regional targets for Gold Loan, Investment, and Insurance business.
Develop and implement sales strategies to improve revenue and market share.
Identify new business opportunities and customer acquisition channels.
Monitor branch-wise sales performance and ensure target achievement
Operations Management
Oversee smooth functioning of all branches within the assigned region.
Ensure proper implementation of company policies and operational procedures.
Monitor gold loan disbursement, renewal, recovery, and auction processes.
Ensure high standards in customer service and operational efficiency.
Investment & Insurance Operations
Promote investment and insurance products through branch network.
Ensure proper customer guidance regarding investment and insurance schemes.
Monitor cross-selling activities and improve product penetration.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines related to financial products.
Team Management
Supervise Branch Managers, Sales Officers, and Operations staff.
Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and motivational sessions.
Build a high-performance culture within the region.
Support recruitment and manpower planning activities.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with RBI, IRDAI, and company regulations.
Monitor audit observations and implement corrective actions.
Prevent operational risks, fraud, and policy violations.
Maintain portfolio quality and control overdue accounts.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare regional MIS reports and business analysis reports.
Coordinate with HO departments including HR, Audit, Operations, and Finance.
Conduct regular branch visits and review meetings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in NBFC, Banking, Gold Loan, Insurance, or Investment sector.
Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-branch or regional management.
