Restaurant Staff

The Trainee in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry will assist in various functions across different departments such as kitchen operations, customer service, and restaurant management. The individual will undergo on-the-job training to develop the necessary skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality customer experiences, maintain operational efficiency, and understand the processes involved in managing a QSR business. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with their orders and inquiries, ensuring a high level of service.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness, ensuring quality food presentation, and providing a welcoming environment.

1. Food Preparation (Kitchen Operations):

• Assist in the preparation of food items following standardized recipes and portion control.
• Ensure that food is cooked and served in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and blenders under supervision.

• Help with restocking supplies in the kitchen, storage areas, and service counters.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation as required.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure the proper setup and cleaning of workstations.
• Assist with cash register operations and managing the point-of-sale (POS) system.
