Job Description
Key Responsibilities (TMT Sales Personnel)
1. Sales Volume & Target Achievement
- Achieve primary (direct to dealer) and secondary (dealer to end-user) sales targets for TMT bars and branded long products.
- Develop new customers and expand business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Ensure timely booking of orders and manage order funnel. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
2. Channel Management & Expansion
- Expand the dealer and retailer network to ensure market penetration.
- Maintain strong relationships with channel partners (Distributors, Retailers) and resolve their issues.
- Manage distribution channel performance, including reviewing distributor sales managers and field officers.
3. Influencer Mapping & Engagement
- Regularly engage with influencers (masons, contractors, structural engineers, architects) to promote brand preference.
- Organize technical workshops and site meetings to demonstrate the product benefits (e.g., higher ductility, better corrosion resistance). [1, 2, 3]
4. Commercial & Logistics Management
- Collect orders and ensure prompt collection of payments from dealers to minimize outstanding dues.
- Coordinate with plant logistics and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of TMT bars to customers.
