Senior Interior Designer – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership

• Lead end-to-end interior design projects from concept to completion
• Develop creative concepts, mood boards, and detailed design proposals
• Ensure designs align with client vision, brand identity, and functional requirements
• Mentor and guide junior designers and design teams

2. Client Management

• Meet clients to understand project requirements, preferences, and budget
• Present design ideas, layouts, and material selections
• Manage client expectations and incorporate feedback into designs
• Build strong, long-term client relationships

3. Space Planning & Concept Development

• Create efficient space planning layouts and design solutions
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and renderings
• Ensure optimal use of space while maintaining aesthetics and functionality

4. Project Management

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants
• Conduct site visits to ensure design execution aligns with plans
• Resolve on-site issues and provide design solutions

5. Material & Vendor Coordination

• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories
• Source vendors and negotiate pricing when required
• Ensure quality standards are met in all materials and installations

6. Technical Expertise

• Prepare detailed working drawings and specifications
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders

7. Quality Control

• Review and approve design deliverables and installations
• Maintain high standards of design excellence and attention to detail
• Ensure final output matches approved design concepts

8. Trend Awareness & Innovation

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies
• Introduce innovative ideas and sustainable design practices
