Job Description
- Receive materials from vendors and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward material movements.
- Issue materials to project sites as per approved material requisition notes.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain proper storage of materials to prevent damage, theft, or deterioration.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), stock registers, and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with project teams regarding material requirements and deliveries.
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and housekeeping of the store.
- Track consumables, tools, and equipment issued to sites and ensure timely returns.
- Report shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and discrepancies to management.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain compliance with store management policies.
- Support audits by providing inventory records and documentation.
