Job Description
1. Financial Record ManagementMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
- Manage general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial activities.
2. Accounts Payable and ReceivableProcess vendor invoices and payments.
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Monitor cash flow and payment schedules.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
3. Bank ReconciliationPerform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Verify transactions and identify discrepancies.
- Resolve reconciliation issues promptly.
4. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Provide financial reports to management for decision-making.
5. Tax CompliancePrepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain tax records and documentation.
6. Budgeting and ForecastingAssist in preparing annual budgets.
- Monitor budget utilization and expenditures.
- Support financial forecasting and planning activities.
7. Payroll ProcessingProcess employee salaries and reimbursements.
- Calculate deductions, taxes, and statutory contributions.
- Maintain payroll records and compliance.
8. Audit SupportAssist internal and external auditors during audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
9. Compliance and Internal ControlsEnsure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
10. Financial AnalysisAnalyze financial data and identify trends.
- Provide recommendations for cost control and profitability improvement.
- Support management with financial insights and reports.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Excellent MS Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
