Job Description: General Accountant

We are seeking a reliable and organized Accountant to manage our daily financial activities. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring bills are paid on time, and providing management with a clear picture of our company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Daily Bookkeeping: Record all financial transactions, including income and expenses, into the accounting system.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage outgoing payments to vendors and track incoming payments from customers to ensure a healthy cash flow.
• Bank Reconciliation: Match bank statements with internal ledgers to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Payroll Processing: Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, including the calculation of taxes and benefits.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare basic monthly reports such as Balance Sheets and Income Statements (Profit & Loss).
• Compliance: Ensure all financial records and tax filings are organized and comply with local laws and regulations.
• Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
• Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one standard accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks).
• Detail-Oriented: A high level of accuracy when dealing with numbers and data entry.
• Ethics: Strong integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
