Job Description
Job Summary:
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Handle daily accounting operations and journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing returns (GST, TDS, etc.)
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with auditors during audits
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
