Accountant

We are hiring a full-time Accountant to manage our day-to-day finances and support the business as we scale. We're looking for someone with hands-on D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) experience who understands the unique accounting needs of an e-commerce/retail brand — order-level reconciliation, marketplace payouts, COD/prepaid settlements, GST on online sales, and inventory-linked costing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, ledgers, and financial records
• Reconcile payments across payment gateways, marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.), and COD collections
• Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow, and expense reports
• Track inventory costs and coordinate with operations for COGS accuracy
• Manage vendor payments, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
• Coordinate with CA/auditors for tax filings and annual audits

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with a D2C / e-commerce brand (mandatory)
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Tally
• Good command of MS Excel/Google Sheets
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience: 1–4 years (salary will be based on experience level)
