Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant cum Office Assistant to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of our Residential Welfare Association (RWA). The ideal candidate should have good accounting knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and committee members.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Generate and track maintenance invoices and resident dues.
Record receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow records.
Process vendor bills, payments, and reimbursements.
Prepare monthly income and expenditure statements.
Assist in annual budgeting and audit activities.
Maintain statutory and compliance-related records.
Follow up on outstanding maintenance dues from residents.
Administrative & Office Support
Manage day-to-day office operations and documentation.
Maintain resident, vendor, and staff records.
Draft letters, notices, circulars, and meeting minutes.
Coordinate with residents, committee members, vendors, and service providers.
Handle telephone calls, emails, and resident queries.
Maintain filing systems, both physical and digital.
Support the management committee in organizing meetings and events.
Ensure proper inventory and procurement records for office supplies.
Software & Reporting
Maintain records using accounting software such as Tally, ERP, or similar platforms.
Prepare periodic reports as required by the Management Committee.
Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in accounting and office administration.
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, Word, and Email.
Good communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi preferred).
Experience working with apartment associations, societies, or RWAs will be an added advantage.

Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation.
