Accountant / Purchase Assistant

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant / Purchase Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting activities along with procurement support. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records and ensuring smooth material purchasing operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts·      Maintain daily accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Receipts, Payments)

·      Handle GST billing, invoicing, and e-invoicing

·      Prepare and maintain ledgers, bank reconciliation, and expense records

·      Assist in GST filing, TDS, and statutory compliance

·      Follow up for payments from customers and manage vendor payments

·      Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions

Purchase·      Prepare purchase orders (PO) and coordinate with vendors

·      Source materials and obtain quotations from suppliers

·      Compare prices and negotiate for best rates

·      Track order status and ensure timely delivery

·      Maintain purchase records and vendor database

·      Coordinate with stores/engineering team for material requirements
