Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Invoicing: Generate and issue accurate client invoices, credit memos, and statements based on contracts, timesheets, or sales orders
Accounts Receivable: Track outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and reconcile customer accounts
Payment Processing: Record incoming payments via check, ACH, wire, or credit card and apply them to the correct invoices
Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly AR reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with clients or internal teams
Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly AR aging reports, revenue summaries, and billing metrics for management
Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital records of invoices, contracts, and correspondence in QuickBooks/Xero/NetSuite
Compliance: Ensure billing practices comply with company policy, tax requirements, and relevant regulations
Cross-functional Support: Work with Sales, Operations, and Project Managers to clarify billable work and resolve client billing questions
