Assistant Store Manager - Retail

We’re hiring a hands-on Assistant Store Manager to lead Sales and Operations for our Jayanagar store.

This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role critical to maintaining store standards, inventory accuracy, and overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

MOST IMPORTANT - Sales: Generating walk-ins through on ground activation and improving conversion to meet monthly Sales targets

Beyond that, the person also needs to ensure:

1. Store Readiness & Hygiene

• Open store and complete daily readiness checklist
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across store and stockroom
• Ensure shelves, fixtures, and billing areas are organized and customer-ready
• Visual merchandizing

2. Inventory & Replenishment

• Refill shelves from backroom stock
• Track fast-moving and low-stock items
• Maintain organized stockroom and conduct regular stock checks

3. Inwarding & Quality Control

• Receive and verify stock against invoices/system
• Check quantity, batch, expiry, and product quality
• Flag damaged/expired items and discrepancies

4. Pricing & Labels

• Ensure accurate shelf pricing and label placement
• Update price tags and promotional signage
• Conduct regular audits to eliminate errors

5. Customer Service & Billing

• Assist customers on the floor
• Support billing operations during peak hours
• Resolve customer issues promptly

6. Team & Operations Support

• Coordinate morning activities with store staff
• Ensure SOPs and checklists are followed
• Maintain disciplined, customer-first store environment
