Job Summary:

A Barista prepares and serves coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service. They maintain a clean work environment, operate coffee-making equipment, handle cash transactions, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café, workstations, and equipment.
• Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and syrups.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and courteously.
• Support team members during busy periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate loads.
• Previous café, restaurant, or retail experience is preferred but not always required.
