Carpenter

Job Title: CarpenterOverview:We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques, and be able to read and follow design plans or technical drawings. The carpenter will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing wooden structures and furniture as per project requirements.

• Key Responsibilities:Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials
• Read blueprints, drawings, or instructions to determine job requirements
• Install doors, windows, partitions, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden fixtures
• Repair damaged furniture or wood structures
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality guidelines
• Work on-site or in a workshop as per the project
• Collaborate with other construction team members, designers, or supervisors
• Requirements:Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or plans
• Skilled in using tools like saws, drills, chisels, hammers, etc.
• Knowledge of wood properties and other construction materials
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
• Basic knowledge of safety practices on site
