Job Description

🛠️ Job OverviewA CCTV Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting surveillance camera systems, wiring, and related electrical components to ensure security systems function effectively.

  • 🎯 Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure CCTV cameras (analog & IP cameras)
  • Perform wiring, cabling, and connections (coaxial, LAN, fiber if needed)
  • Set up DVR/NVR systems and monitors
  • Ensure proper camera positioning and coverage
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in CCTV systems
  • Conduct regular maintenance and system upgrades
  • Configure remote viewing (mobile/laptop access)
  • Maintain records of installations and service reports
  • Ensure safety standards during electrical work
  • 🧰 Required SkillsKnowledge of CCTV systems (DVR, NVR, IP Cameras)
  • Basic electrical and wiring knowledge
  • Understanding of networking (IP address, routers, LAN)
  • Ability to use tools like drill machines, testers, crimping tools
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
