Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Fixed only)

About the Role

This is a chat-based debt collections role. Unlike a traditional voice/tele-collections process, you will not be making calls. Instead, you will engage with borrowers entirely through written communication — primarily via WhatsApp, email, and other digital channels.

You will handle soft collections only (90–300 DPD bucket) for fintech lending portfolios. The role demands strong written language skills, fast and accurate typing, the ability to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously, and the empathy to build trust with borrowers through text alone.

Chat-based collections is still uncommon in the industry, so we are open to candidates who don't have direct chat-collections experience but have strong relevant backgrounds (see eligibility below).

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with assigned borrowers via WhatsApp, email, and other digital chat channels.

• Drive resolution and recovery on borrower accounts in the 90–300 DPD bucket through soft collections methods.

• Maintain professional, empathetic, and persuasive written communication at all times.

• Manage multiple conversations in parallel without dropping quality, response time, or follow-up discipline.

• Document every borrower interaction accurately in the collections system.

• Coordinate with team leads and operations on escalations and complex cases.

• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly resolution and recovery targets.

Eligibility – Must Have:

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in either: (a) chat-based collections, OR (b) customer support in the banking/finance/fintech industry with chat or email handling experience.

• Strong written command of English and Hindi — grammar, tone, and clarity all matter.

• High typing speed with high accuracy.

• Comfort handling multiple simultaneous chat conversations.

• Experience with soft collections in the 90–300 DPD bucket (for collections candidates).

• Minimum education: 12th Pass.

• Last 3 months' salary slips and 2 professional references at the time of joining.

• Immediate joiners strongly preferred.

Good to Have:

• Tele-collections background with fintech lenders such as Slice, Navi, KreditBee, MoneyView or similar.

• Working knowledge of Telugu, Tamil or other regional languages.

• Hands-on experience with WhatsApp Business, ticketing tools, or collections CRMs.

• Prior exposure to a high-performance, target-driven operations environment.
