CNC Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines for precision manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of reading engineering drawings, handling measuring instruments, maintaining dimensional accuracy, and ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling, turning, VMC, or lathe machines.

Load raw materials, tools, and fixtures into machines safely and accurately.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and process sheets.

Perform machine setup and offset adjustments as required.

Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish quality.

Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.

Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections.

Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine logs.

Replace worn tooling and notify supervisors of maintenance issues.

Follow shop safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines and work areas (5S practices).

Collaborate with programmers, quality inspectors, and production engineers to resolve machining issues.

Working Conditions

Manufacturing or machine shop environment.

Standing for extended periods and handling machine components.

Use of safety equipment including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection.
