Job Description

  • CNC / VMC SkillsKnowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations and axis movements (X, Y, Z)
  • Understanding of machine setup, work holding, clamping, and work offsets
  • Tool setting, tool selection, and offset correction
  • Basic programming knowledge in G-Code and M-Code
  • Understanding of cutting parameters: speed, feed, depth of cut
  • Knowledge of cutting tools and machining processes
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
  • Inspection skills using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge)
  • Safe machine startup, shutdown, and shop floor safety practices
  • Troubleshooting and quality-focused production monitoring
  • Advanced / Added SkillsCNC programming and process optimization
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam
  • Preventive maintenance and machine care
  • Practical machining experience and continuous improvement
