Commis Chef

About the Role

The Commis is the first operational step in the kitchen career pathway. This role focuses on executing foundational kitchen preparation tasks independently, building technical proficiency across assigned stations while maintaining Pizza 4P's standards of food safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute basic ingredient preparation tasks including washing, cutting, portioning, and labeling.
• Perform assigned duties at one primary kitchen station under Trainer or Senior guidance.
• Maintain consistency in preparation output in line with company recipe and portion standards.
• Fully comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of personal workstation, tools, and kitchen area.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of all ingredients.
• Operate basic approved kitchen tools safely including knives, scales, and cutting boards.
• Report any tool malfunction or hazard to the Trainer or Leader immediately.
• Handle all equipment according to SOP and safety requirements.
• Actively seek feedback from Trainers and Senior Partners to improve performance.
• Participate in all training programs, assessments, and skills checks as scheduled.
• Support teammates during peak service periods and respond promptly to assigned tasks.
• Communicate respectfully with all kitchen and service staff.
• Follow directions from Senior Partners and Leaders.
