Kitchen Helper & Kitchen Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Commi 1,2,3 to efficiently manage kitchen operations and ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and team coordination at our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth preparation and timely delivery of food orders.
• Prepare and supervise Continental cuisine dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Ensure all food preparation is carried out as per standard recipes and restaurant guidelines.
• Manage kitchen staff and allocate duties to ensure efficient workflow during service hours.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and plating standards before dishes are served to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards across all kitchen sections in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Supervise inventory management, stock rotation, and storage of food items to minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with purchase and store teams for timely ordering and availability of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Train and guide kitchen helpers and commis chefs on food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any repair requirements.
• Monitor kitchen productivity and support the team during peak operational hours.
• Assist in menu planning, new dish development, and implementation of seasonal specials when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain discipline within the kitchen team.
• Handle opening and closing kitchen operations, including preparation, cleaning, and stock checks.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements:

Must be able to speak Basic English and Hindi Mandatorily.

Minimum 6 Months to 5 years of experience in kitchen operations, preferably in Continental cuisine.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety practices.

Ability to handle kitchen operations independently during shifts.

Good leadership and team management skills.

Basic knowledge of inventory handling and kitchen stock management.

A high school diploma or equivalent; a culinary certification will be an added advantage.

Must be within the age limit of 21 to 35 years.

A disciplined, professional, and well-groomed personality.

Physical stamina to work long hours in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays as per business requirements.
