Department Head – Women's Fashion & Lifestyle (Nagawara Experience Centre)
Location: Nagawara, Bengaluru
Department Size: Approximately 2,500–3,000 sq. ft.
Core Responsibilities
Sales Achieve - department sales targets
- Achieve category-wise targets
- Improve conversion ratio
- Improve average bill value
- Improve UPT (Units Per Transaction)
- Improve repeat customer ratio
- Reduce lost sales
Customer Experience - Personally attend premium customers.
Build loyal customer relationships.
Handle:
- Bridal customers
- Family shoppers
- VIP customers
- Repeat customers
- Complaint resolution
Create memorable shopping experiences.
Visual Merchandising - Maintain showroom presentation at premium standards.
Responsible for:
- Mannequins
- Window displays
- Feature walls
- Colour blocking
- Theme displays
- Festival displays
- Bridal displays
- Entry statements
- Lighting coordination
- Promotional displays
Every display should encourage customers to explore further into the department.
Team Leadership - Lead and coach:
- Sales Executives
- Helpers
- Floor Assistants
Conduct:
- Daily briefing
- Product knowledge sessions
- Grooming checks
- Motivation sessions
- Sales coaching
- Performance reviews
Inventory Management - Monitor:
- Fast movers
- Slow movers
- Dead stock
- New arrivals
- Size availability
- Colour availability
- Replenishment
Coordinate with procurement team.
Ensure no empty display areas.
Fashion Intelligence - Continuously monitor:
- Market trends
- Competitors
- Wedding trends
- Festival demand
- Local preferences
Provide weekly buying recommendations.
Customer Database Building Develop:
- Bridal customer database
- VIP customers
- Repeat customers
- WhatsApp customers
Coordinate:
- New arrivals
- Festival promotions
- VIP previews
Department Standards - Responsible for:
- Cleanliness
- Folding
