Job Description
- Key Responsibilities🔧 Electrical WorkInstall, test, and maintain wiring, control panels, and electrical equipment
- Ensure proper load distribution and safe connections
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs
- 🔥 Fire & Safety SystemsInstall and maintain:
- Fire alarm systems (smoke/heat detectors)
- Emergency lighting systems
- Fire suppression system electrical controls
- Ensure all systems are functional and regularly tested
- ⚡ Protection & PreventionInstall and maintain:
- MCB, MCCB, ELCB/RCD
- Earthing/grounding systems
- Identify and eliminate fire hazards like short circuits, overloads, and loose wiring
- 📋 Compliance & InspectionFollow electrical and fire safety standards (e.g., NEC, IS codes)
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Maintain records of maintenance and safety checks
- 🚨 Emergency HandlingRespond to electrical faults and fire incidents
- Isolate power supply during emergencies
- Support evacuation and safety procedures
- Required SkillsKnowledge of electrical systems and fire safety equipment
- Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Awareness of safety regulations and procedures
- QualificationsITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field
- Certification in electrical safety or fire safety (preferred)
- 1–5 years of relevant experience
- Safety ResponsibilitiesUse PPE and insulated tools
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Never work on live circuits without precautions
- Work EnvironmentConstruction sites / industrial plants / commercial buildings
- May involve shifts and emergency call-outs
