Job Description

Financial Controller & Business Finance

Bengaluru · Reports to Founder/MD · Growth-stage consumer electronics accessories (B2B distribution + emerging D2C)

Role in one line: Own the integrity of the numbers and turn them into decisions — run a tight close and control environment while driving cash, margins, and capital.

Financial Control & Compliance

Own month-end close, P&L, balance sheet, and consolidated MIS with a fixed reporting calendar

Statutory and tax compliance across states: GST (multi-state), TDS, ROC, income tax; liaise with auditors and consultants

Maintain the control framework — approval matrix, segregation of duties, vendor/customer masters, ERP hygiene (post Zoho→new-ERP migration)

AR/AP governance: distributor credit limits, ageing, reconciliations, and provisioning

Inventory and COGS accuracy — FIFO/ageing, GRN-to-invoice matching, margin integrity
