Job Description

The Showroom Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming walk-in customers, maintaining accurate customer records, handling front desk operations, and ensuring the showroom remains clean, organized, and presentable. The role also includes basic financial handling, procurement coordination, and housekeeping supervision to support smooth showroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Enter walk-in customer details accurately into the system and maintain records
  • Follow up with customers regarding inquiries, quotations, appointments, and feedback
  • Handle petty cash and maintain daily cash records
  • Prepare and manage receipts, payments, and basic billing documentation
  • Coordinate purchase and procurement of showroom and office supplies
  • Maintain proper documentation for purchases and vendor payments
  • Coordinate housekeeping staff and ensure showroom cleanliness at all times
  • Monitor front desk, waiting area, and display areas for cleanliness and organization
  • Support sales and administrative teams as required

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications preferred)
  • Prior experience in a showroom, front desk, or customer service role is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of cash handling and payment processing
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office or POS systems preferred)
  • Presentable appearance and attention to detail

Work Environment

  • Customer-facing showroom environment
  • Requires interaction with walk-in customers, vendors, and internal teams
