Department Central Processing Unit (CPU) – Gold Loan Industry Banking

Role Summary We are looking for an experienced professional for Gold Loan Sanction – CPU role to manage centralized processing and sanction activities for gold loan cases. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating loan proposals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining high standards of operational accuracy and portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

 Review and sanction gold loan proposals within approved authority limits.  Verify customer documentation, gold valuation, purity assessment, and pledge formalities.  Ensure adherence to credit policy, operational guidelines, and RBI compliance requirements.  Handle high-value and exception approval cases with proper risk assessment.  Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and ensure efficient case processing through CPU.  Coordinate with branch teams, operations, risk, audit, and business departments for smooth processing.  Maintain portfolio quality and support risk control measures.  Identify operational gaps and drive process improvement initiatives.  Prepare MIS reports and support management reviews.  Ensure compliance with audit observations and internal control standards. Required Skills  Knowledge of Gold Loan operations and sanction processes  Experience in CPU/Centralized Operations preferable  Credit appraisal and risk assessment expertise  Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements  Strong analytical and decision-making skills
