Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities1. Goods Receiving & InspectionReceive incoming shipments from vendors/suppliers.
  • Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies and report issues.
  • 2. Documentation & Data EntryRecord all inbound transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP.
  • Maintain proper documentation such as GRN (Goods Receipt Note), invoices, and delivery challans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
  • 3. Inventory ManagementEnsure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of goods.
  • Update stock records and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in periodic stock counts and audits.
  • 4. CoordinationCoordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding discrepancies or returns.
  • Work closely with outbound team for smooth operations.
  • 5. Storage & Space ManagementOrganize warehouse space efficiently for easy access and safety.
  • Follow FIFO / FEFO (First In First Out / First Expiry First Out) principles where applicable.
  • 6. Compliance & SafetyFollow warehouse safety standards and company policies.
  • Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage or loss.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate / Diploma in any field (Logistics or Supply Chain preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations (freshers may apply for entry-level roles).
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS/ERP).
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
