Job Description
Austins, a luxury furniture store in Bangalore offering premium designer sofas and elegant home furniture crafted for refined living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Execution & Supervision
- Oversee installation of furniture, fixtures, and interior elements at site
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Project Coordination
- Act as a link between showroom, factory, and site team
- Schedule deliveries and installation timelines
- Follow up on material dispatch and availability
- Quality Control
- Inspect furniture before and after installation
- Ensure finishing, polish, alignment, and detailing meet standards
- Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Measurement & Drawings
- Take accurate site measurements
- Verify drawings with actual site conditions
- Suggest modifications if required
- Client Handling
- Interact with clients at site for updates and approvals
- Handle queries and ensure client satisfaction
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure proper handling of materials at site
- Follow safety guidelines during installation
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of furniture construction and materials (wood, plywood, laminates, upholstery, hardware)
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD drawings
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Problem-solving ability on-site
